Throughout the course of this studio we were tasked with 3 projects that we had to complete, it was mostly based off diagramatcally presenting our ideas and findings as well as showcassing the user experience of the structures given and chosen.

Project 1: Diagramming Architectural Principles

In this assignment we were tasked with studying our given structure o Tropical Atrium: Jungle Tree House Costa Rica, as such we would dive into the five parts that we would them present our findings on. My part was mostly based on the structure which was made from pre-abricated steel and was linked and built up in a way not only to expose the steel but also or the structural integrity of the building.

Project 2: Designing with Architectural Principles + Materiality

During project 2 (another group assignment) we were tasked with using timber to design and come up with an architechtural space that would express a principle and the material to its best. As a group we chose that we would play with light as well as interlocking spaces.

Project 3 : Designing with Architectural Principles + Materiality + Context + User: Tropical Solitary Haven

Our final and biggest project was the solitary space that was to be designed for myself and a family member, it was to meet the requirement needed by both people in bothe private and public space.

My take on this project was to ineterlink my structure with the outdoors whilst trying to meet the simple needs of my mother and myself.
